Last night was the best night of my year, and I want to thank EVERYONE for the help, support and encouragement I've received. From James who did a brilliant job as the auctioneer. The slaves who put themselves forward as well as the masters who bid for them. Members of BLUF who had made special effort with their appearance. (There were a lot of comments about eye candy) Len and Tony who made a special trip from Dublin, hope Ryanair got you home in time to get to work this morning lads. Jack and Keith from Swansea, Alan from Bridgwater, who are part of our fixtures and fittings. Dave (Tie-emup) who stayed behind with his 2 pups to help us pack up. Ken who is always good for a laugh on the reception, Joe and Jerry, for their continued help and support. The management and staff at Castro's for their their willingness to help us at all times. All the messages of support from well wishers I've never met. Mark (Cute Arse) from slavepups.com who couldn't work tonight because of other commitments but then had a last minute change of plans which really helped in getting us out of the brown smelly stuff, and to  200 guys who  were in such great spirits and created a great atmosphere. It's also worth a mention that more than 80 guys arrived in the first half hour.

Although I was unable to witness the slave auction, from what I've heard it went brilliantly, and £292 was raised to help with supporting World Aids day. So a big THANK YOU to everyone who took part. That £292 has helped take our total to of donations to the THT to over £1,600 this year

Are we going to have another slave auction? After last nights performance I believe we have now got a base to work from to make things even better when we get around to doing the same thing again. However, Swen, the cheeky barman who took the night off just so he could partake in some of the action has suggested that he would like to see a "Masters Auction" Now that is an idea that appeals to me, and definitely one I would like to think about.

We have always been fortunate that the vast majority of guys who visit us are always very friendly, and last night was no different. Looking forward to seeing you all again at Castro's on the 2nd March.

A reminder, to our current members. Don't discard your membership cards because we are going to accept them when we re-open and will be valid until May 2008 to give everyone the opportunity to renew without having a huge queue on the opening night.
