Once again April is on the way out - Let us hope it leaves our summer behind this year - The best news is that Aprils departure brings forth two Bank Holiday Sundays in May when we will be open for both of them. Our usual opening time of 7.30pm Doors will remain open until 10pm on both nights but no admittance after 10pm Closing time depends on you guys the later you stay, the later we can stay open. As long as the bar is kept busy, we can go until 4am

For the guys who are travelling to us if you haven't booked your beds yet, you may be interested to know that the Old Castle Green now has accommodation with prices at £35 - £45 for a double room. Click here for more info  If any of you have used these facilities we would be grateful if you could give us some feedback.

Easter

While Easter Sunday was our busiest night of the year so far. The 19th April was the quietest night ever. However as with all quiet nights there was a lot of activity. With guys travelling across the country from Brighton and Glasgow, and another flew into Heathrow from Tunisia and came straight to us where his clothes were torn from him as soon as he arrived. Now we know things are tight for everyone, but we do need your continued support. As most other venues, Space 72 also needs help to keep going. We have enjoyed our time at the venue and don't wish to loose that, so Please, please consider us and the venue rather than sit in on a Sunday night when you could be having a good time making use of our facilities and meeting other friendly guys.

Changes

There is no way I can deny, I miscalculated the current economic situation and the impact it would have. My feelings were in gloomy times guys would want to go out and have some good times, but that was a big expensive mistake. I know some guys have made arrangements to visit on some of the dates in June which we have already advertised, so I will keep to the promise to be open on June 7th and 21st. From July we will only open once a month, plus any bank holiday Sundays.

Basement - Dress code- Your Help

It is well known that clothes you wear to the office or shopping are not acceptable attire to wear in the basement. However. a very small number of guys are ignoring that request.

Can I ask that if anyone is in the basement, inappropriately dressed that someone comes to tell me. Or at least report it to the guys at reception, so we can take steps to point them into the areas where they are entitled to go.

Finally

. . . we have always had a policy of being an attitude free, friendly club. Even though over the years we have gained several more helpers, that policy still hasn't changed. On behalf of the guys I would like to thank the newcomers who have recently sent personal messages of thanks to Chris, Josh, Mark and especially Adam.

Whatever your doing for the holiday, we would appreciate you finding some time to visit us and giving us some support, if you're not able to make the 3rd May, perhaps you would like to consider paying us a visit on the 24th May
